PRONOX™

To help make your procedure more comfortable, we offer PRONOX™, a safe and effective 50/50 blend of nitrous oxide and oxygen that helps reduce anxiety and discomfort during treatment.

How PRONOX™ Helps

  • Works within seconds to ease anxiety and discomfort

  • Helps you feel calm, relaxed, and in control during your procedure

  • Wears off quickly after use with minimal lingering effects

  • No IV or prescription medication required

Important Information

PRONOX™ is an optional comfort service available for an additional fee. It is not covered by insurance and must be paid for in advance of your procedure. If you would like to use PRONOX™, please let our staff know when scheduling your appointment.

Even though the effects wear off quickly, patients who use PRONOX™ must arrange for someone to drive them home after their procedure.

Risks and Considerations

PRONOX™ is well tolerated by most patients. Some individuals may experience temporary dizziness, lightheadedness, or mild nausea, which typically resolve quickly.

PRONOX™ may not be appropriate for patients with certain respiratory conditions, ear conditions, or recent eye surgery. Your provider will review your medical history to ensure it is a safe option for you.

PRONOX™ can help make your procedure more relaxed and comfortable, allowing you to focus on recovery instead of anxiety.
